| Going carbon neutral
Ann Link has completed the eco-renovation of her new home in Lewes.
Details are still available as a blog on the Guardian’s website, and the house is an Old Home Superhome , with energy demand cut by 72%.
There is a growing network of Transition Towns and many other areas have started the journey. Eg. Ashton Hayes.
In Lewes, a group in Transition Town Lewes has written a response ( 1.1m pdf) to Lewes District Council’s Local Development Framework consultation. The council is already well aware of climate and energy issues and has signed up to 10:10 to reduce its carbon emissions by 10% in 2010. It is already well on the way and planning to recruit more individuals and organisations on 10:10:10 (10 October 2010).
