Welcome to Shared Energy, a small group of people who support each other and others outside to make the changes we all need to make in our lives to cope with steeply rising energy prices and to lessen the risks of climate change.

We will pilot projects, develop talks and workshops, provide information and consultancy. We aim to be an example of shared activity on energy issues, which people can copy.

We will keep updating this website with our activities and what you can do. Please visit us again.

Going carbon neutral

Ann Link is embarking on the eco-renovation of her new home in Lewes. As one of The Guardian's Green Home Renovators you can track her progress via her blog.

There is a growing network of Transition Towns and many other areas have started the journey. Eg. Ashton Hayes.

For raising awareness and remembering we have power over the energy suppliers try Blackout Britain and Just One Day.

For more info on making the transition to a low carbon society visit Background. The sooner we start, the sooner we start to make a difference!
